LANCASHIRE SAUCE CRISPS SHRINE
This is a fan page. It is unofficial and unsponsored. Fiddler's Lancashire Crisps is a registered trademark of Fiddler's Lancashire Crisps, I guess. I just like these enough to make a shrine to them.
These crisps are awesome. I like the density of the crisp, the crunch, and the depthy flavour. They're a very savoury, slightly vinegary, very curry flavour with a more umami taste than Worcester Sauce crisps. I think they may only be available in the north of England, and they're The North's equivalent of Kettle Chips. The potatoes used to make them are ostensibly from a single farm in Lancashire, and I don't imagine that gives them global reach in terms of supply. I've got a packet here on my desk which I'm transcribing from and the smell is making me salivate.
Yes, that's a 3D model I made of the crisps.
Here's the blurb from the back of the packet:
"For three generations and over 50 years, Fiddler's farm has grown its own distinctive, delicious potatoes, in fields famously rich with the black soil of the Rufford and Lancashire plains. After we've carefully dug them up, it takes just a few minutes to bring them back down the old cart tracks to our farm, where we wash, peel, slice and hand cook them in small batches. Then, after we season them with authentic flavours, we simply pop them into this bag. So dig in, and treat yourself to the cracking taste of genuine Lancashire crisps."

Shout out to BIG BOB and the Fiddler family and all the people in farming, cooking, sales, and logistics who allowed me to enjoy this packet of crisps. If you have the power to send me a big box of these, I wouldn't be upset.
